WOD

This is the typical session where we work on the three pillars of CrossFit: weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio-muscular endurance. All areas of the body are used. The sessions vary each day, both in the exercises offered and in the format, but always require self-improvement and physical performance. You will never do the same session, and that's what makes CrossFit so interesting. This is the WOD to choose for a trial session.

WEIGHTLIFTING

Weightlifting is an exercise that requires strength, flexibility, and dynamism. This sport is broken down into two movements, which are respectively:

  • the Clean & Jerk

  • the Snatch

These two movements are now essential CrossFit movements. However, if they are not mastered, they quickly become a source of frustration, pain, and even injury. We offer specific classes during which all the basics will be reviewed and worked on to make your CrossFit practice more efficient and safe.

ENGINE

These specific WODs focus on the pillar of cardiovascular endurance. In groups of six people, you will work on your endurance using the available ergos (rowing machine, BikeERg, SkiErg) as well as running, skipping rope, and even exercises with dumbbells or kettlebells.

This is a WOD particularly appreciated by people who want to get back into better physical condition.

GYM

These masterclasses focus on exercises that are the cornerstone of gymnastics. You'll work on your technique with pull-ups, handstands, muscle-ups, and more.

And thus you will gain in performance during WODs.

STRONGMAN

Strongman is probably the most interesting strength discipline for a CrossFit practitioner, whether they are a competitor or not.

The most common movements are:

  • the Deadlift

  • the Clean & Jerk

  • the movement of an object in space (different variations of carries – Yoke carry, Farmer walk, DBall carry, etc.)

These are therefore only global, functional movements, involving a large part of the body's muscular motor units. This requires significant strengthening and transfer of force from the core to the extremities.

FUNCTIONAL BODYBUILDING

Functional Bodybuilding is a resistance training with exercises using external loads (dumbbell, kettlebell, barbell, etc.) as well as bodyweight exercises, the goal of which is to learn the primary functions of each muscle, build a base of strength, change your body composition, bring balance, all at a low intensity in order to be able to focus on the quality of movements and preserve the central nervous system.
